The Centennial Edition of the Boy Scout Handbook, which is now available, lists several rank changes for Tenderfoot. Second Class, First Class and Life. Two new leadership positions for Star, Life and Eagle are also announced.

These changes become effective January 1, 2010! If a Boy Scout is working on requirements from the old edition of the handbook, he may continue using those requirements until he completes that rank. Then he must move to the new edition.
