Crossing several ponds, the NESSMUK Trek negotiates the landscape of the Raquette River and Tupper and Upper

Saranac Lakes. Featuring some of the best scenery, historic camps and mountainside trips in the Adirondack Park, the NESSMUK Trek is ideal for groups seeking a moderate level of difficulty.

Paddle downstream from the Cedarlands Scout Reservation for a leisurely canoe trek. Stop along the route for a brief side-trip hike to Shattuck Clearing and enjoy the excellent trout fishing. Continue canoeing downstream for swimming, hiking, fishing and camping at Raquette Falls. Round out the trek with camping at Axton,Tupper or the Scenic Upper Saranac Lake.
